StocExpo 2024: Gerotto's no-man entry technologies in Rotterdam

Gerotto at the Rotterdam Ahoy convention centre to bring its industrial solutions on tank cleaning.

On 12nd and 13rd March 2024 took place the annual trade fair on tank storage and cleaning, the StocExpo, at one of the largest convention centres in the Netherlands, the Rotterdam Ahoy. Gerotto’s team of professionals had the opportunity to exhibit 4 different solutions:

Tank cleaning is a fundamental procedure for the cleaning and maintenance of tanks. The flagship solution proposed by Gerotto at the exhibition is a 20-foot container, containing the robot storage space, with its operating equipment and the cabin for remote control.

The 3 robots on display are all remotely controllable and usable inside the container:

LOMBRICO S EX-0 (600 [mm] diameter) and LOMBRICO XXS EX-0 (500 [mm] diameter) , allow the suction of solid and muddy elements in certified ATEX zone 0 environments. They can also be customised with augers, high-pressure nozzles, LED cameras, magnetic tracks and telemetric sensors.

LOMBRICO SP with an on-board progressive cavity pump is a solution that can work without the need to be connected to a vacuum truck and is capable of independently removing any type of muddy material.  It is certified for ATEX Zone 1 environments and can be customised with front accessories and magnetic tracks.
